Dad,
I love you. Thank you for everything you gave us, especially your example of a man as a husband and father.
I cannot believe you are gone. I spent all last night thinking about you, and everything that made you special. Your wonderful smile. How you'd button the top button of your polo shirt. How you answered the phone with a deep, "Keith Weide." The hours of yardwork you'd do, edging and trimming, in a t-shirt and houndstooth check trousers. "Resting your eyes" on the living room floor. Nocturnal adoration. Being able to fix anything. Not wanting to burden anyone with anything. You never did, Dad. You always were prepared to give the shirt right off your back.
Someday soon, when the grief fades, I look forward to telling my sons stories about their grandfather, and how we miss him so.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Kieths family. Whenever I stopped by Andersen Fire Equiptment I always made sure I poked my head into Kieths office where we would update each other on our famalies. I am sure God will welcome Keith to his kingdom. RIP Keith.
