Harris, Clare Phelan
Oct 11, 1922 – Sep 23, 2012
Preceded in death by husband, John M. Harris. Survived by daughters, Helen Clare, Barbara, husband, Pat Mullen and son, Patrick Joseph (PJ) and his wife, Cybele; grandchildren, Colleen, Kyle, Katie, Abigail, Molly, Clare, Bridget, Margaret, and Mary; as well as many nephews and nieces! She was a long time, dedicated employee of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 9-10am in the St. John Catholic Church on the Creighton University campus, with a MEMORIAL MASS at 10am. Family suggests memorials to Creighton University Social Work Scholarship Fund. JOHN A. GENTLEMAN MORTUARIES

I have fond memories of your mother as the very first "Women's Libber" I ever met in person way back when Barb and I were in high school in 1968-1972. She was quite a lady- exuding strength, intelligence, and a sense of promoting independence and freedom for all. Her legacy will continue in her family and those who knew her. May she rest in peace- along with the other peace lovers up there in heaven.

I am just flooded with so many wonderful memories of life in Omaha as a child with our extended family and thinking especially of Aunt Curley
today and all the fun and laughs we had
