I just received word about Brooks passing. Please accept my belated sympathies.
I was friends with Brooks & Liz in Colleton River. We joked because I'm originally from the Twin Cites and we had an instant connection. Give my love to Liz.

I can see because of Dr. Poley. It's been nearly twenty years since I was a patient but he left the legacy of sight to me and so many other patients and my life is better because of him. I thank his family for sharing this remarkable doctor with me and so many others.

Besides his formidable professional accomplishments, he was always fun to be with at the American Eye Study Club meetings. We will miss him dearly and will always remembr him fondly.
