I was so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. Ruth lived with our Grandmother Haynes. She and I spent time growing up together in Sterling. We went to school together and spent most of our time at the homes of Grandma Haynes or Aunt Helen Benson (my mother). I always thought of Ruthie as more than just my cousin. I loved her and have missed communicating with her regularly the past few years.
We loved you and shall remember you always.

I am so sad to hear of Ruth's passing. She was my father's couin (Harold Haynes). I had an occasional correspondence with her, and when she learned I was interested in quilts, she sent me a doll quilt that had been made by a common ancestor. I treasure it. I know she is resting in peace and comfort.
