Ottawa, KS. Passed away on February 14, 2014, at Ottawa Retirement Village in Ottawa. Mary was born on January 8, 1921, in Omaha, NE (in a cemetery), the daughter of Alfred and Mamie (Patterson) Rogert. She grew up and graduated from Tech High School in Omaha. Mary was a member of Faith Lutheran Church after coming to Ottawa in 1999 from Omaha. She was a homemaker, wife, and loving mother. Mary had many hobbies including; sewing, crocheting, gardening, socializing, playing cards, and bingo, but she especially loved to cook and spend time with her family. Mary was united in marriage with Albert John Lang on July 15, 1949 in Omaha. Together they adopted and raised 3 children. Albert preceded her in death on October 16, 2009. Mary was also preceded in death by her grandson Andrew Beauchamp. Mary is survived by son, Curtis Lang and wife Barbara of Bella Vista, AR; daughter, Stephanie Beauchamp and husband Gene of Pomona, KS; son, Timothy Lang and wife Monika of Vienna Austria; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will Receive friends 6-8pm on Tuesday, February 18, at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center Street, Omaha. FUNERAL SERVICES at 10:30am on Wednesday, February 19, at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, Omaha.
