Passed away July 26, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. Preceded in death by his father, Robert Miller. Survived by his wife, Beatriz and sons, Shalen and Michael of Las Vegas; mother, Marnie Miller, Omaha; brothers, Bob (Maureen) Miller and Dr. John (Jacelyn) Miller, Kansas City; sisters, Mary Pat (Rick) Flanagan and Jeanie (Dick) Sturgeon, Omaha; many nieces and nephews. Mike was a graduate of Ryan High School and attended UNO. He was a well-known and loved keyboard musician for several years in Omaha playing with River City All Stars, Arizona Transfer, and Bourbon Street among others. He then moved to Las Vegas where he played in many venues. His last band, JAMM, was a well-known house band at Ballys Casino. Michael was well-loved and respected not only among those who listened and danced to his beautiful compositions, but by many musicians throughout the Midwest and West Coast. They appreciated the rare talent he brought to the industry.
