Barrett-Bailey, Miki Lynn
Miki Lynn Barrett-Bailey, age 33, of Council Bluffs, left this world unexpectedly, to go live with the Lord Sunday, October 13, 2013, after a fatal car crash on Interstate 29. She was born September 20, 1980, in Omaha to Mike and Sheree' (Anderson) Barrett. Miki attended Lewis Central and graduated from Bryan High School, Omaha in 1999. She had a son, Dylan Okerbloom in 2000. The sparkle of her eye! Miki worked at the Hilton Garden Inn in Council Bluffs and was currently employed at RJ Nelson. Miki Lynn was full of life and always ready for a new adventure. She loved Hello Kitty, her animals, family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Eugene H. Anderson; and aunt, Lisa Jean Anderson. Miki Lynn leaves behind her son, Dylan Okerbloom, Council Bluffs; her finance', Anthony "Tony" Schnitker, Council Bluffs; and his son, Zane; and daughter, Avery Schnitker, Omaha; parents, Mike Barrett, Sheree' Barrett (Jeff), all of Bellevue; brother, Michael Barrett (Cheyanne), Omaha; grandmothers, Dianne (Barrett) Hettrick, Bellevue, and Shirley (Anderson) Pokorski (Steve), Blue Eye, MO; grandfather, Cloyd Ratcliff, Leesburg, FL; her "adopted" family, Ken and Cynde Root with "brothers" Tye, Jeremy, Tory, and their families of Council Bluffs; many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
VISITATION with the Family, Thursday, 4-8pm at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Following the visitation, Miki Lynn will be cremated and a private family burial will be held in the Bellevue, NE. Cemetery. CUTLER-O'NEILL-MEYER-WOODRING
