Norman David Schauman peacefully passed away on June 27, 2013 in Delray Beach, FL, with his family by his side. His family, wife Linda; daughters, Susan (Richard), Heather (Mark), and Erin (Tom); sister Claudia; grandchildren, Amanda, Alex, Matthew and Lily; as well as an uncle; and several nieces and nephews, loved him dearly. Norman was preceded by his mother and father, Norman and Pat Schauman. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather. Norman was a strong Christian man, and married 51 years. He was born on July 27, 1940 in St. Louis, MO. He moved to Nashville, TN during his childhood years, where he attended Hillsboro High School, followed by the University of Tennessee, and later married Linda. He pursued sales with several department stores enabling relocation to Houston, TX; Pittsburgh, PA; Youngstown, OH; and Omaha, NE. For the last 18 years, he resided in Delray Beach, and was a business owner until he retired in 2011. He enjoyed the opportunity to settle in the warmer climate of South Florida and had a strong passion for the ocean.
Anyone who had the chance to know Norman loved his charisma and loving heart. He could light up a room with his smile and infectious laugh. He knew no strangers and truly led a genuine life by example.
