Western, NE. Passed away in Fairbury, NE. Born to Chester and Laura (Yost) Rhynalds. Worked at Nebraska State Bank in Western for 50 years. WWII Veteran – B17 Bomber Pilot. Earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal. Preceded in death by his parents; wife Verda; sister Dolores Pfetzer; stepson Paul (J.R.) Rush. Survived by wife Martha, Western, NE; daughters and son-in-law Polly and Frank Partsch, Omaha, Mona Rhynalds, York, NE; step daughter Martha Ann Beecher, Houston, TX; grandchildren Catherine Conlan and Sarah Gilbert; step grandchildren Elisabeth Lennier and Lori Beecher; 4 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins.
FUNERAL SERVICES Friday 2pm, St. John's UCC, Western, NE. Interment Plainview Cemetery, Western, NE. VISITATION Thursday 5-7:30pm, Kuncl Funeral Chapel, Western, NE. Memorials to Western Rescue Unit or the Western School Bell Fund. KUNCL FUNERAL HOME
