Preceded in death by son Salvatore "Sam" Bonofede; parents Salvatore and Carmella Bonofede; sister Nettie Tomlin; and brother James Bonofede. Survived by wife Ida "Tootsie"; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and William Garnett; grandsons, William and Joseph Garnett; sister Angeline Vacanti; sister-in-law Karen Bonofede; and many nieces and nephews. A US Navy Veteran WWII; owner of Bona-fide Electric for 45 years; member of American Legion Post #1; Italian American Heritage Club; Santa Lucia Club, and 50-year member of Knights of Columbus Council #652 - Fourth Degree.
VISITATION at St. Margaret Mary Church (61st and Dodge) Monday after 5pm, with Vigil Service at 7pm at the Church. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL Tuesday 10am at Saint Margaret Mary Church. Entombment, Resurrection Cemetery, Holy Angels Mausoleum. Military Honors by American Legion Post #1. Memorials to be directed by the family. BETHANY FUNERAL HOME
