Loren, Lisa, Aerial, and Joshua,
Sorry to hear about your mom, Loren. She was a wonderful lady! Not only being next door neighbors to you all, but also working with your parents gives me a view of both sides. And what I see is a wonderful, giving family that both Virginia and Joe instilled in your upbringing! And then you found a wonderful wife, still one I consider a great woman and friend, and passed those values down to your kids for them to pass on eventually! And then our kids meeting by "chance" (which we all know "chance" does not exist, but it is God putting people in our lives)! We miss seeing you and were out of town until Saturday evening. My e-mail address is attached, so please write when you can. I know from losing my dad 10 years ago how hard it can be, but God will comfort you and always be be your side. Romans 8:28-39.

Dear Lauren, Lisa, Ariel & Joshua,
My prayers are with during this sad time. Your mother/grandmother was a very special lady with a heart of gold. Your parents were special friends with my parents throughout their entire life. I will never forget as a kid their generosity at Christmas time to me and my siblings. I am so thankful for the time I spent with Virginia last October. In her passing, I am sure the angels were singing, as she was a Godly woman, with a serving heart to everyone she crossed paths with. My memories of her will live in my heart forever and trust that I will see her again in heaven. I pray for peace and comfort for your family.

Virginia and I lived wih our parents on a farm near Washington Nebraska in 1946. I have many wonderful memories of her. We had a lot of fun while in school and throughout our whole life. We kept in contact all the time, talking on the phone daily and then ever Friday night after I moved to Phoenix. She will be truly miss and had a heart of gold. I keep a picture of her and I talk to her everyday. The memories of her will remain in my heart forever. I know she is in heaven now with Joe and free of pain. My sympathy to Lauren and Lisa. Much love sent your way.

Virginia was one of the most giving people I have ever known. She and Joe could never do enough for anyone in need. You could see her driving her "big brown car" anytime of the day or night delivering friends to wherever they needed to go. She will be missed, but we know she is happy and at peace.
