Fr. Parker died in Liguori, MO. He was preceded in death by parents, William J. and Mary M. Parker; brother, Roger Parker; and nephew, Michael Parker. Survived by siblings and spouses, Jack and Clare Parker of St. Mary's, GA; Mary Anne Parker, Patrick Parker, Joan and Wes Neuhaus, all of Omaha; Steve and Nancy Parker of Aurora, CO; and Tom and Cindy Parker of Palatine, IL; many nieces, nephews, friends, and fellow members of the Redemptorist Community. Fr. Parker professed his vows on August 22, 1970, and was ordained to the Priesthood on June 21, 1973. He served in many parishes across the country, and had many assignments during his priesthood, including, acting as the Associate Pastor at Holy Name Church in Omaha, from 1996 - 2000.
FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Tuesday at 11am at Holy Name Catholic Church, 2901 Fontenelle Blvd, Omaha. VISITATION begins Monday at 5pm at the 72nd Street Chapel, with a Wake Service at 7pm. Additional Services will be held in Liguori, MO, with a Prayer Service to be held Wednesday at 7pm at the St. Clement Health Care Center. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held Thursday at 10am at the St. Clement Health Care Center. Interment in the Redemptorist Cemetery in Liguori.
