Shirley Jeanne Kohtz, 70, of East Peoria, Illinois, a licensed practical nurse at many area hospitals and nursing homes, died at her residence on Monday, September 18, 2000. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, September 22, 2000, at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin, Illinois, officiated by the Rev. Mark A. Miller. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint John’s Lutheran Church, 711 Court Street, Pekin, IL 61554 or the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center Hospice, 530 Northeast Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL 61603. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin.
