Rochester, MN. Born in Lincoln, NE, Geri was a retired Federal Employee after having worked at the Federal Medical Center, Rochester, MN. She is survived by husband, Al Yanes; mother, Mary Anne Doran; siblings and spouses, Joe and Renee Doran, Kennard, NE, Paul and Stephanie Doran, Huntley, IL, Fred and Julie Doran, and Dorene and Jim Watson (all of Omaha, NE); numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, cousins, god-children, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by father, Dwight Doran; and brother, Frank Doran. Geri graduated from Holy Name High School in Omaha in 1976. She received her Undergraduate Degree at Northwestern University in 1980, and her Medical Degree at the University of Nebraska Medical School in 1986. She completed her Psychiatry Residency at Stanford University in 1996. She became an Oblate of the Order of St. Benedict in 2004.
VISITATION will begin Wednesday 5pm in the St. Vincent de Paul Church, with a WAKE SERVICE at 7pm. A MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held Thursday 10:30am in the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
