Raymond A. LaManque(1937 - 2014)

VERNON >> Raymond A. LaManque, age 76, formerly of State Route 31 and more recently of the Martin Luther Home passed away Sunday evening, Jan. 26, 2014 at the nursing facility.
He was born on March 6, 1937 in Utica, N.Y. a son of the late Camille A. and Winifred C. Hahn and attended Utica schools.
On Oct. 13, 1956 Ray and Eleanor S. Seifert were united in marriage and have shared a union of over 57 years together.
Prior to his retirement Ray was employed as a mason with Utica Concrete. In his spare time he enjoyed snowmobiling and was a past president of the Durhamville Trail Riders. He was also a stock car diver at Vernon Raceway.
Surviving are his one brother, Gerald (Ruth) LaManque of Whitesboro; three sisters, Sharon (Stephen) Loan of Champlain, Radine O'Lender of Utica and Nancy (John) Saunders of Stittville, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front St., Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. at the funeral home immediately following calling hours. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vernon.
