William S. Craig(1922 - 2013)

ONEIDA >> William S. Craig, 90, formerly of Amboy passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at his daughter's home in Oneida.
Born in Amboy on June 24, 1922 he spent most of his life in Amboy, graduating from Solvay High School in 1939 and serving in the Army Air Corps as a radar operator during WWII. He was a member of Amboy Belle Isle United Church and past Elder in Amboy Presbyterian Church. He worked for 38 years as a foreman at Allied Chemical in Solvay. He was a 67 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Camillus and Marcellus.
Bill was predeceased by his wife, Louise (Dreher) Craig in 1970; his parents, Harry B. and Grace A. Craig; a brother, John L. Craig and sister-in-law, Elizabeth O. Craig; brother-in-law, Lewis H. Goodman and son-in-law, Gary M. Graverson.
He is survived by his daughters, Christine L. Craig and Susan P. Graverson, both of Oneida; a sister, Annette C. Goodman of Syracuse; four nieces, one nephew, and many great-nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. with services at 4 p.m. at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee (Main) St. village of Camillus. Burial will be in Belle Isle Cemetery.
