WOOSTER, OHIO >> Antoinette C. "Toni" Crisafulli, 91, formerly of Willow Street, Oneida, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013.
Born in Oneida on April 16, 1922, she was a daughter of John and Carmella Carolla Carnevale. A resident of the area until July of 2012, Toni was a graduate of Oneida High School. She married Felix J. Crisafulli on Jan. 31, 1943 in Oneida. Mr. Crisafulli died on May 13, 1992.
Prior to her retirement, Toni was employed with the United States Department of Agriculture. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church where she was a member of the Altar-Rosary Society. Toni was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Our Lady 1250 in Oneida, the Oneida City Democratic committee, a former board member of the Oneida Healthcare Center Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary No. 169, the Women of the Moose No. 272, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, American Association of Retired Persons, the Madison County Office for the Aging and the
During World War II, she worked for the United States Army Air Corps in Washington D.C. and was later employed with the United States Selected Services.
Surviving are: three sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Carla Crisafulli of Omaha, Neb., Larry and Daphene Crisafulli of Rocky Mount, N.C. and Steven and Nancy Crisafulli of Wooster, Ohio; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Paul M. Crisafulli on June 30, 2012, six sisters, Catherine Leo, Victoria Spohn, Cecelia Graf, Jennie Campanaro, Philomena Aquino and Mary Costello and two brothers, Dominick and Michael Carnevale.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida and 10 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church where the funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Richard Kapral, pastor. Interment will be made in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. Friday.
