COPIAGUE, N.Y. >> Edward L. (Larry) Clark, 67, passed away April 23, 2013 at Southside Hospital, Bayshore, L.I.
Born in Oneida, N.Y. on Jan. 30, 1946, he was the youngest of 16 children born to Charles and Marjorie Phillips Clark.
Larry attended Oneida High School and while in school had a love for music and being musically talented, he played guitar in his band, "The Castaways" and also performed live on the Ted Mack TV show. He also played basketball.
He married Margaret Dereaway on July 4, 1970 in Long Island.
Larry was employed at Synergy International Optronics, LLC in Ronkonkoma, L.I., N.Y. He was employed there for 38 years and was manager for 30 years. He also owned and operated Larry Clark and Sons Landscaping in Lindenhurst. He also coached baseball for Little League. Larry also played third base for Moose Club League.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and especially enjoyed his grandchildren, and was happily looking forward to the birth of his fourth grandchild to be born soon.
Larry will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; two sons, Edward (Carrie) and James (Viviana); his grandchildren, Brianna, Guilia and Lorenzo; brothers, Theodore, George, Arthur (Sandy); sisters, Evelyn Ingalls, Sara (Stanley) Hrim, Georgia Fox, Donna Willis; sister-in-law, Mary Clark and many, many nieces and nephews and special cousin, Danny Simmons and special nephew, Anthony Latteri.
Larry was predeceased by sisters Anna V. Latteri, Gloria Sarenski, Delores Goulette, Helen and Dorothy; brothers, Walter, Lynn, Carl and Charles; nephews, Hankie, Brewster, Teddy and Wally Clark and a niece, Patricia Ingalls.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Lindenhurst Funeral Home. Burial was at Breslau Cemetery.
