Lyle A. ""Andy"" Perkins, 55, Lexington Avenue, died Sunday morning, May 20, 2012, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester following a lengthy illness.

Born in Oneida on Nov. 6, 1956, he was a son of Lyle H. and Ethel M. Clark Perkins. A lifelong resident of the area, Andy attended Oneida High School.
Mr. Perkins was a self-employed carpenter and he formerly was employed with Company Roofing.
Surviving are one daughter, Brooke Smith; two sons, Nicholas A. Smith and his fiancee Rachel Feldman of Oneida and Tyler A. McBain of Oneida; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Eleanor and Gary Grems of Oneida and Joan and John Edick of Oneida; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Lola Perkins of Oneida and George and Valarie Perkins of Munnsville; four grandchildren, Keyarra Moore, Isaiah Smith, Rylie Smith, and Mariah Smith; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Gary L. Perkins on April 29, 2002.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida, with the Rev. Brian Fellows, officiating. Interment will be made in Glenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the funeral service.
