DELAND, FLA. >> Charlotte Mae Fallon, 90 of DeLand, Fla. passed away on Sunday, March 30 at the Hospice Care Center in Orange City, Fla.
Charlotte was born in Oneida, N.Y. on Nov. 18, 1923 and was married to her husband Seth for 51 years prior to his death in 1993. Charlotte relocated to Florida in 1978 and was an active resident at Hugh Ash Manor since 2001. She enjoyed spending time with her family, swimming at the YMCA, and playing Bingo. She was a Pink Lady volunteer at Florida Hospital Deland for 13 years.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Guin) of Clinton, N.Y., and Gary (Gail) of DeLand, Fla.; four grandchildren, Kelly (Scott) Prichard of Sauquoit, N.Y., Cheryl (Peter) Potasiewicz of Whitesboro, N.Y., Erin (Nick) Menza of Dayton, Ohio and Greg Fallon, Orlando, Fla.; six great-grandchildren, Derek Prichard, Renee Potasiewicz, Katelyn Potasiewicz, Kyle Prichard, Ewan Menza and Liam Menza.
A memorial service was held in DeLand on Tuesday, April 1 and a service for immediate family along with interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Kirkland, N.Y. will be held on Saturday, April 5 at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand, Fla. and Heintz Funeral Home in Clinton, N.Y.
