ONEIDA >> Kenneth R. French, 66, of 205 N. Broad St. died Saturday, May 3, 2014 at his residence following an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Syracuse and was the adopted son of Robert and Kathleen Reese French. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1968 to 1971. He was employed with Madison-Cortland A.R.C. on Broad Street in Oneida. He was previously employed at Top's Friendly Markets. He is of the Catholic faith.
Surviving is a sister, Mary Beth and Jack Weismore of Chittenango; an aunt, Marion Miller of Sherrill, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Carol O'Connor. A graveside service is tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2014, at St. Mary's Irish Ridge Cemetery, Town of Verona, at a time to be announced. There will be no hours of public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Coolican-McSweeney Funeral Home, 322 Washington Ave., Oneida.
