CHARLOTTE, N.C. >> Leslie Heller Vanderhoof, 60, formerly of Oneida, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at her residence following a brief illness.
Born in Oneida, on April 11, 1954, Leslie was the daughter of Robert and Patricia Anken Heller. She was a lifelong resident of the area, moving to Charlotte, N.C. ten years ago. Leslie was a graduate of Oneida High School. She is married to Steven Vanderhoof.
She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Surviving are her husband, Steven Vanderhoof of Charlotte, N.C.; her parents, Robert and Patricia Heller of Oneida; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristie (Hutchinson) and Scott Barcomb of Oneida Castle and Tara and Johnny Wynes of Clover, S.C.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Blaine and Alisha Vanderhoof of Charlotte, N.C. and Craig and Hilliary Vanderhoof of Cramerton, N.C.; two brothers and sisters-in law, Todd V. and Phyllis Heller of High Ridge, Mo. and Peter A. and Eva Heller of Bo Island, Texas; and three grandchildren, Haylee, Shyan, and Easton Vanderhoof.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 5 p.m. at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida, with the Rev. Stuart Wattles officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday 3-5 p.m., prior to service. To leave a message of condolence, please visit
