ONEIDA - Mary A. Winn, 45, West Elm Street, died early Sunday morning, Aug. 19, 2012, in the Oneida Healthcare Center, Oneida, where she had been a medical patient for the past three days, following an illness of the past 2 1/2 years.
Born in Oneida, on May 13, 1967, she was the daughter of Clarence "Doc" and Kathleen Bowman Hopkins.
A lifelong resident of the area, Mary was a graduate of Camden High School. She married Trent R. Winn in Oneida, on Sept. 26, 1987.
Mary, at one time, managed the former Green Lantern Restaurant, in Oneida, for her late father. She was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving besides her husband, Trent of Oneida and her mother, Kathleen Wallace of Oneida, are two sons, Micheal Duarte of Oneida and Jason Winn and his former wife, Jennifer Kilts of Oneonta; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Sharon Hopkins, Kristy and Jeremy Wallace, Elizabeth Hopkins and Amanda Hopkins, all of Oneida; four brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert Wallace, Clarence "Doc" and Amy Hopkins Jr., Kristian Hopkins and Lucas Joslyn, all of Oneida; three step-brothers, Frederick Wallace of Syracuse, Jeffrey and Yari Wallace of Boonville and Terry Wallace of Rome; four grandchildren, Jaylyn Kilts and Julianna, Jada and Jackson Winn; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father and her step-father, Frederick Wallace.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Thursday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida, with the Rev. Kurt Johnson, officiating. Interment will be made in Mc Connellsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home11 a.m.-2 p.m., Thursday, prior to the service.
