Athens - Adele Silbereisen Algeo, 76, of Athens, died Monday, March 15, 2010. She published with her husband on linguistics and history and was a member of the University of Georgia Women's Club, a life-member of the Theosophical Society and a 30º Co-Freemason. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, John Algeo; daughter, Catherine (Katie) of Bowling Green Ky.; son, Thomas; daughter-in-law, Viviana; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Nicholas of Cincinnati Ohio; brother, Charles Silbereisen of Winterville; and sister, Joan LeMosy of Winter Park, Fla. Cremation services by Bernstein Funeral Home are private.

John and family - although this was not altogether unexpected, I'm sure it must still be hard to deal with. You have my best wishes.

Dear John,
