Charles Henson Jr.

Charles Hubert Henson Jr., age 73, of Bartlett, Tenn., passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013.
Born on September 1, 1939, in Winder, Hubert was the son of the late Charles Hubert Henson Sr. and Reba Lay Henson, was a 1957 graduate of Winder-Barrow High School, and attended the University of Georgia. He and his wife owned Bob's Tropicals, in Bartlett, Tenn., for 17 years.
Mr. Henson was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Scarlette Adams Henson.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Terri H. (Joe) Connolly, of Suwanee, and Danah H. (Randy) Smith, of Memphis, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Preston and Brandon Leach, and Madison and Catherine Connolly.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Smith Funeral Home, in Winder, followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at 12:30 p.m. in Bowman Cemetery, in Bowman.
