I am so glad that Louise walked into my life in 2000 and left footprints on my heart that I will forever cherish. To know her was to love her: To love her was one of my life's greatest blessings.

She was the Mom of my best childhood friend ... and like a 2nd Mom to me for years. I'll never forget her kind finger-pointing eyes which seemed to say "you boys better watch your P's and Q's" -- and her smile which would say "now, go have some fun ! ".

When I moved back to Athens and knew who Miss Louise was at OCAF, I remember thinking what a lady..It is not one often sees so clearly how fun and dignity, graciousness and good works were all parts of this lovely lady. She raised sons with the same qualities. Watkinsville was gifted when the Shearon family came.

Amazing Grace was personified in this gentle and serene yet stoic woman who appreciated the beauty in this world and love of those around her. She was a constant example of
how to navigate life by the acceptance of its sorrows and treasuring its joys. GG will be greatly missed but I believe she looked forward to joining all of her loved ones that went before her. May God continue to Bless you GG Until the day we once again meet you at the bridge.
