Sedelia Dean Fields died Friday, March 29, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Humphrey and Molly Deacon Fagans, and was born in Barrow County. She is predeceased by a brother, Ralph Fagan; and sisters, Eva Gunter and Lois Cronic. Sedelia was raised by her late sister Gladis Mavroodes and brother-in-law Charlie Mavroodes.
Sedelia is survived by a daughter, Gail Robertson (Emmett) of Watkinsville; a son, Mike Fields (Linda) of Athens; two grandchildren, Lonnie Fields (Amy) and Travis Fields (Casie); two great grandchildren, Kaleb Fields and Gage Fields; and two special nephews, Jerry Cronic and Bill Cronic (Lois). She retired from Tiny Tot Nursery and was a member of Attica Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013, at Attica Baptist Church. Rev. Kenney Rosser and Rev. Shane Moore will be officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Bernstein Funeral Home, 3195 Atlanta Highway, Athens.
