Mary Irene Inwright, age 81, of Athens, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013.
A native of New York City, Mrs. Inwright was the daughter of the late Dee W. Stone and Irene W. Stockvis Stone. She was a retired grammar school teacher with the New Jersey school system, and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Norman Inwright, of Athens; sons and their wives, John and Patty Inwright, of Dublin, Ohio, Bob and Sandra Inwright, of Athens, and Paul and Tracey Inwright, of Williamsport, Pa.; sister, Grace Marrion, of Niantic, Conn.; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Julie, and Bo Inwright, and Mary Duffey; and great-grandchild, Jordan King.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 800 W. Lake Dr., Athens, GA 30606.
