Maryland Alfred "Bobby" Tucker Jr. passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014.
A native of Oglethorpe County he was the son of the late Maryland Alfred and Addie Mae Cape Tucker, Sr.
Mr. Tucker was a long time employee and retiree of the US Post Office here in Athens and also retired from the Clarke County School System. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the Baptist faith.
Maryland "Bobby" Tucker is survived by Zulene Autry. He is also survived by Sister, Marilyn Ferguson, Brothers, Larry Tucker, Alex Cobb, Daughters, Cheryl Christopher, Janine Lynn, Brenda Kinchen, Theresa Sims, 11 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Bernstein from 5-7 pm Sunday, May 4, 2014.
A private burial will be held on Monday.
