Stacey Tweedell Wheeler, 43, of Bishop, died on Monday, June 9, 2014. She was the wife of Ty Wheeler, formerly of Commerce, and the mother of Rhett, age 11.
In addition to her husband and son, Stacey is survived by her parents, Frank and Linda Tweedell; sisters, Susan (Johnny) Highfill and Sharon Tweedell; mother- and father-in-law, Mike and Barbara Wheeler; brother-in-law, Scott (Tena) Wheeler; and sister-in law, Carrie (Greg) Sorrow. Stacey had four nieces (Ansley (Sam) Porterfield, Jordan Highfill, Ava Sorrow, and Bonnie Wheeler) and two nephews (Taylor Highfill and Nate Sorrow), all of whom she loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, at Grace Fellowship Church, Bogart.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to The Clute Barrow Nelson Life Foundation, 320 Milledge Heights, Athens, GA 30606; or to Breast Fest, 1011 Chris Ct., Athens, GA 30606.
Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, DeFuniak Springs, Fla., is entrusted with the arrangements.
