Ansley Thornton Obituary

Athens - Ansley Brooke Thornton, infant daughter of Ashley and Terri Thornton, passed away August 14, 2008. She was born May 22, 2008 in Athens, Ga.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, with Rev. Wendell Hanley officiating.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her grandparents, John and Sharon Ward of Commerce, David and Chris Thornton of Monticello, Wendy Thornton of Jonesboro and Thomas Minish of Nicholson; aunts and uncles, Anthony and Tosha Gaddis of Jefferson, Jeremy and Tonya Minish of Hull, Tracie Minish of Athens, Jay and Tammy Thornton of Monticello, Missy Thornton and Kay Bower of Salisbury, N.Y. and Beth Thornton of Jonesboro; cousins, Driston, Mollie, Mason, and Ruthie Mae Gaddis of Jefferson, Skylar and Samantha Minish of Hull, Brittany Thornton of Salisbury, N.Y., Shirley Thornton, Andrew Johnson, both of Monticello.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.

Ansley Brooke Thornton...a beautiful, precious, smiling little girl. I thank God for blessing me with a time to hold you smiling, and admire how beautiful you are. Its amazing how little time you spent here with us, we shall never know why the Father called you home so soon. Ansley you touched so many lifes, and are loved by many. You have a WONDERFUL family that i am grateful enough to call my own. Ansley until i see you again one day, I love you very much and will miss you. My beautiful niece and the Angel that got recieved to soon. I love you and miss you already. This is so untrue and I feel like I'm still trapped in a dream that I'm not waking up from. Anybody would've much rather went than you. We will never know the reason why God took you from us so soon. You were just a baby!! Your Aunt TT will love you always and forever.
