Maria Pena-Zamorano,45, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012.

A native of Cali, Colombia, Mrs. Pena was the daughter of Dilia Zamorano Pena, of Colombia, and the late Gustavo Pena. She was a graduate of the Universidad San Buenaventura in Colombia and was employed by the Clarke County School System as a Pre-K teacher at H. J. Edwards.

Survivors include her husband Ugo Drago, of Watkinsville; sisters, Ximena Pena-Rogers and husband Jim, of Atlanta; Alexandra Pena-Botero and husband, Alvaro, of Watkinsville and Juliana Pena-Marconi and husband Luis, of Tustin Ranch, Calif., and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the University of Georgia Catholic Center. The family will receive guests immediately following the services in the fellowship hall.
