Mr. Donald Lee "Charlie" Brown, 63, of 5613 Diamond Lane passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at his home.
The funeral service was held at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Union Ezell AME Zion Church in Fort Lawn. The Rev. W.N. Long officiated and burial followed in the church cemetery.
Born in Lancaster County on May 15, 1955, he was the son of Bessie E. Gill Brown and the late Allen Lee Brown. He was a member of Union Ezell AME Zion Church in Fort Lawn and was formerly employed by Springs Industries. He was a 1974 graduate of Lewisville High School.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Lee Brown; a brother, Mack Cleveland Gill; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Cunningham.
Survivors are his wife, Judy Ann Curry Brown; his children, Natasha (Rodney) Porter and Sheldon Dion (Jenny) Brown; his mother, Bessie Elizabeth Gill Brown; four sisters, Patricia Ann Brown-Campbell (Matthew), Louveria Geniese Cunningham, Leevone Brown-Hall (Joseph) and Stephanie Eve Brown; four grandchildren; one aunt; four nieces; three nephews; three great-nieces; four great-nephews; one great-great-niece; three sisters-in-law; and five brothers-in-law.
