Mrs. Valarie Feaster Caldwell, 55, of 841 Meadowbrook Road passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Leeds with the Rev. W.J. Baxter Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born in Chester County, she was the daughter of Charlie C. Feaster and the late Mary L. Crank Feaster. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she was a former Hymn Choir assistant and former member of the Junior Choir. She attended the public schools of Chester County and was a 1976 graduate of Chester High School. She was formerly employed by the Chester County School District.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Caldwell.
Survivors are her father, Charlie C. Feaster; two brothers, Marion Otis (Earnestine) Feaster and Gregg Allen (Patricia) Feaster; one sister, Debra F. Anderson; a goddaughter, Carrie Moore; aunts, Dorothy Worthy, Betty Bowser, Annie C. Sanders, Elizabeth C. Thompson and Daisy Ervin; an uncle, George (Ruthie Mae) Feaster; a brother-in-law, Robert Caldwell; sisters-in-law, Azilee Caldwell, Brenda Caldwell, Sallie (John) Stevenson, Joann (Dwight) Stokes, Margie Crank, Evangelist Frances Moore and Margaret M. Able.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday at King's Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St., Chester.
