Mrs. Mary Judy McCullough, 93, of 560 Flint St. passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.
The funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Pleasant View AME Zion Church with the Rev. Loretta English officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born in Chester County on Aug. 29, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Will Calvin Brice and Gertrude Woodard Brice. She was a member of Pleasant View AME Zion Church, where she served as a Mother of the Church and Deaconess and was a member of the Hymn Choir, Missionary and Usher Ministry.
Survivors are one son, Arthur (Etta) McCullough; three daughters, Daisy (Bobby) Caldwell, Bobbie (Thomas) Louden and Shirley (Carlton) Carter; sister, Rosa Brice; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant View AME Zion Church, P.O. Box 1124, Chester, SC 29706.
Viewing will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at King's Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St., Chester.
