Paul Gene Miller, 68 of Glenwood, formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., entered into rest on Dec. 3, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born on Aug. 23, 1949, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. to Bernard Michael and Jeanne Eva (Chalute) Miller.
Paul was employed with the United States Coast Guard as a CWO4 where he proudly served his country until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed traveling in his RV, gardening, hunting, fishing and taking care of others. Paul was a member of Holy Rosary Church. He truly loved his family and friends, especially his dog Georgie.
Preceding Paul in passing were his parents, three brothers and one sister. Survivors include his children, Tammy (Andy) Matuszak of Bellevue, Neb.; Michael (Ilene) Miller of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Amy Miller (Dennis Lucas) of Almont, Mich.; Aaron Miller of New Boston, Mich.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild, his beloved dog, Georgie and many special friends.
Interment will be at a later date.
