Gary Scott Starr, 75, of Papillion, Neb., died Nov. 2, 2012, in Omaha, Neb. Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Pike Creek Bible Church in Newark, Del. Interment will be at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Peterson Mortuary of Glenwood is in charge of local arrangements.

Scott was born March 6, 1937, in Pierson, to Orville and Bernice (Messerole) Starr. He was raised in Malvern and graduated from Malvern High School in 1954. He faithfully served his country in the Navy from 1955-57. Scott was employed as an advertising executive. He enjoyed Nascar racing and golf.
Preceding Scott in death were his parents and one brother, Roger. He is survived by daughter, Kerry and husband Dan Weber of Lincoln University, Pa.; son, Curt Starr of Silver City; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
