Olson Jr., Kenneth Paul, of Corona and Newport Beach, CA, died Thursday April 11 from injuries sustained in a head on collision with a wrong way driver on Jamboree Rd. in Tustin. He was born in Fountain Valley, CA on December 11, 1983, attended high school in Corona, and married the love of his life, Sarah Catherine Nicholas on July 28, 2012, in the company of 150 family and friends at the Newland House, Huntington Beach. The newlyweds made their home in Newport Beach, CA, but recently moved in with family in Corona in order to save for their first home. Kenneth leaves behind the broken hearts of his beautiful wife, Sarah; his parents, Becky Reedy and Kenneth Olson Sr.; step-mom, Lisa; sister, Lacy, Aunt Crystal Olson, Uncle Mike Olson; cousins, Ciara, Chelsea, Collin and Austin; and in-laws, Paul, Patricia and Mark Harrington and Jon and Nicole Nicholas; niece, Rylee; nephews, Will and Davy; as well as countless friends and relations who will miss his beaming smile, unending enthusiasm for life and love of people. Kenneth LOVED his wife and family above all else and gave of himself constantly. Kenneth was California Angels Fan #1, having just attended games with his Uncle Mike during Spring Training in Arizona as well as Opening Day in Anaheim with his Dad and Uncle. Kenneth was also an avid cyclist, and had completed the Breathless Agony tour and the Tour de Palm Springs. Kenneth worked as a Mixologist for Chili's Restaurant in Irvine, and will be dearly missed by his fellow Chili-heads and regular customers. Celebrate Kenneth's Life at 11am on Sat. April 20 at Lighthouse Community Church, 301 Magnolia Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92627. Reception to follow in church hall.
AND please remember: Kenneth and his wife took a cab to and from any event that involved alcohol. ALWAYS. Please…follow his example so that no other families will be in the agony that ours is experiencing right now.

Such a tragedy, for a family to lose a son. Words can not help the pain, I don't know what to say, Ken Sr. and Lisa are friends, we remember Kenneth as a young man, I wish we would have gotten to know him as a man. I am sure he was a reflection of his father, Kenny, you did a fine job raising him. I hope that you can find some peace and sense in all this, although I know how difficult it is trying to see any purpose in tragedy and pain.

Feel no guilt in laughter, he'd know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that he is not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever; he would not want you to.
He'd hope that you could carry on the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you, a word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day,
That brings him back as clearly as though he were still here,
And fills you with the feeling that he is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
And he will live forever locked safely within your heart.

Kenneth, you are greatly missed.

My son, Corey, knew Kenneth and Sarah. Our hearts grieve at his sudden death. There are no words adequate enough to convey our sadness or to express our deepest condolensces. I will always remember how his face lit up when he smiled. He was one of the few people who had the gift of instantly making you comfortable. Heaven now has a very special angel. I know he will be dearly missed by those he left on this earth, but we also know this is not the end, and we will see him again. May God's peace be with you, Sarah. May God's comfort envelop all those affected by his death.

Dear Sarah,
My heart goes out to you. I did not have the pleasure of meeting your Beautiful Husband, but I did have the opportunity of seeing the love you too share, because of all the wonderful pictures your Mom posted on Facebook. She is so proud of the two of you! There are not enough words to comfort you at this time, but please know that I am praying for you to have healing, faith and some kind of understanding. The days ahead will be very tough, so continue to surround yourself with your family and friends that love you. The day will come when you are able to smile again when you think of Kenneth. He is always with you in your heart- Love and prayers, Nancy

I'm one of the fortunate people to be w/ Lil Kenneth since he was born. We called him "lil Kenneth" to distinguish between SR. & JR. for some reason I never broke the habit. I called him a few years ago on his birthday I said I guess its time to drop the "lil" and he replied "its ok aunt Sheree I like it when you call me lil Kenneth." what a sweetheart. He was a perfect baby lovable child wonderful teenager who turned into the man that all of us knew....A man that always smiled#happy#sweet#kind#friendly#funny#loveable#peaceful#hard working#goals#family oriented#best friend#had your back#charisma#charming and so much cheer and happiness to spread around. That's how I will remember Lil Kenneth from the day he was born until the day GOD called for him. Many sleepovers w/ Austin and Collin when they were young....if we went to Becky and Kenny's their was no way of dragging home the boys and vice versa when Becky & Kenny came over. We just started packing a bag they loved their week ends & summers together. here. Jesse next door would hang w/ them as well. 4 amigo's. He was closer than a nephew and cousin friend to jesse. Sarah my heart is crying tears for you I know how much he loved you:He told mims and I he was going to be engangement ring shopping soon a few years back. The look on his face was enchancment and it was for you baby.Mims and I were so happy. Becky my everything bleeds for you. I know how very much you loved an worshipped your son. The fun times when we worked together and the boys would be together summers etc. To all others you are very kind for thoughts and prayers and my thoughts and prayers to Lil Kenneths extended family and friends. ps. his pops had a nickname for everygrandchild K.O. was gumby!

Ooh "Kiki". I'll never forget how much you hated that. Lol. I will always cherish the time I lived next door to you and Sar-.I I loved when you or her would make dinner for us. I'm also thankful for the short time we worked at Chili's together and how you loved to yell at me to get my good out :) To have you taken away from Sarah so suddenly is heartbreaking. I hope your strength and positivity will continue to shine through and help all of the people that I know miss your dearly.

Dearest Kenneth – Your passing from this earth has affected many people. You positively impacted the lives of everyone with whom you contacted. As I read the posts from your friends, it is obvious that they saw in you the loving man that your Family have known and loved all of your life.
This wonderful trait of yours is the result of being surrounded by the love and encouragement of your entire Family, Olsons and Reedys, from the day you were born.
Your passing has left an enormous hole in our hearts, but we find comfort knowing that your love is pure and will be a bright glow in the Heavens above.
We Love and Miss you dearly and wait in anticipation for the day when we will be reunited.
