RALPH WEBER Obituary

Weber, Ralph Henry, 84, of Evansville, Indiana, and a long-time resident of Fullerton, California, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012, at West River Health Campus in Evansville. Ralph was born in Evansville on October 11, 1928, to the late Ewald and Clara Mae (Knowles) Weber. Graduating from Cynthiana High School, Ralph continued his education at the University of Evansville, which was at that time Evansville College. Ralph enjoyed his years in college as a member of Pi Epsilon Phi fraternity. Prior to graduating from Evansville College, Ralph served with the United States Marine Corps, during the Korean Conflict. For his bravery and valor, Ralph earned the Purple Heart during the Chosin Reservoir Battle. Following his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Ralph worked with the FBI as a Special Agent. He continued working in the private sector in various security and investigative roles. In 2000, Ralph retired as a Fraud Investigator for State Farm Insurance. Knowledgeable and literate, Ralph especially enjoyed reading about history. The Civil War was of particular interest to him. With a sense of humor and camaraderie, Ralph was a trusted friend to many. He was loved and respected by both family and friends.

He was married to Gretchen (Mullen) Weber for 32 years. They had two sons together, Jeff and Doug. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Marilyn Bernhardt Weber of Evansville; his sons, Jeff Weber and his wife Lisa, and Doug Weber and his wife Diana, of California; sister, Carolyn Hutchinson of Fort Wayne, IN; and four grandchildren, Whitney Weber, Abbey Weber, Sam Weber and Jack Weber, all of California. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Weber, and his brother-in-law and closest friend, Kenneth Hutchinson.

Family and friends are welcome to join us for a Celebration of Ralph's Life which will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Christian Fellowship Church, 4100 Millersburg Road, Evansville, Indiana, 47725.
