Davis, Gerald Lee
California resident, Gerald Lee Davis, most fondly referred to as Jerry, died on September 11, 2013 at the age of 81, of congestive heart failure. A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 21st at the Anaheim 1st Church of the Nazarene and a private interment was held at Riverside National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 24th.
Mr. Davis was born on October 16th, 1931 in Jacksonville, Illinois, to Elmo and Wilma Davis and he had two siblings, Norma Jean and David.
He was enlisted in the Air Force in 1951 through 1952, where he served as a supply technician. After his discharge, he married Doris Marie Wells in June of 1954.
Jerry had a successful career in the heating and air conditioning business. He owned and operated Davis Air.
Upon retirement, Jerry loved to spend time with his beloved wife, build bird houses, shop at antique stores and read.
He was the father of 3 girls, Karen, Darlene and JoAnn and father-in-law to Dave, Steve and Fernando. Jerry and Doris were blessed with his nine wonderful grandchildren; Sondra, Staci, Stephanie, Amanda, Tiffany, Devon, Austin, Drew and Lauren, and two great grandchildren: Skipper and Cooper. Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton
was in charge of arrangements.
