Grace Shirley Rocco was born on February, 28 1924 in Vera Cruz, Mexico and raised in Huntington Beach, California from the early age of 2 years old. She entered Heaven's gates on July 15, 2013. She passed away peacefully while surrounded by family, many friends, and with heart warming prayers and support from the community.

Grace had an unwavering faith in God and a generous dedication to supporting the Catholic Church. She inspired others, devoted countless time and was generous to Holy Family Cathedral of Orange, the Annunciation Byzantine Church of Anaheim and other organization's serving the community including Lestonnac Free Clinic of Orange, Saint Jeannes de Lestonnac School and Foothill High School's Education fund to name only a few. Her generosity and kindness was extended to countless people including the clergy, sisters, and anyone in need. She felt blessed and was a blessing to many.

Grace was elegant and distinguished not because of any position but because of the way she was. She was a matriarch of a large extended family. Survived by her daughter, Suzanne Mazariegos and children, Fred, Autumn, Austin and Ashana. Daughter, Rochelle and husband, Jeff Bennett and children, Justin, Jennae, Jillian, and Jordon Bennett. Her extended family was special and included nephews, she helped raise, Danny, Louie, Roque, Gilbert Cerda, Armando Alcala and other loving nephews, and all her beautiful nieces who were dear to her heart. She had one great grandchild, Skyler Jason that came into the world as she passed this week and another Axl Donavan on the way. Grace was predeceased by her loving husband of 40 years, Philp J. Rocco and her first husband Henry Nieto and her son Jason Rocco. There is no way to list her extended family and not miss people that she loved.

She was fun to be around and will be missed in many ways. One of her passions included being an 88 year old avid sports fan and somewhat bookie. Her passion extended from golf, basketball, hockey, baseball, soccer and especially football including her "boyfriend" QB Mark Sanchez of the Trojans and Jets. She was special in many ways and simply an "Amazing Grace" to all of us.
