JAMES H. CARPENTER

Carpenter, James H., born August 29, 1921 in Elk City, Oklahoma, he passed away in Orange on January 18, 2013. He served in the Navy during WWII from 1944 - 1946.

Jim had a fruitful life with many interests and as many careers. He finally found his calling after receiving his PhD in Psychology, helping many people in the 25 years of Christian Family Counseling Services. He was a still life artist who saw beauty in the world around him and expressed this in his drawings and paintings.

His loving family, wife of 38 years, Carole Cooper Carpenter; two daughters, Sandra and Janine; two step-daughters, Caren and Celina; three grandchildren, James, Brooke and Maddox; and sister, Helen Jo Nichols survive Jim. www.fairhavenmemorial.com
