Henderson, Marvin Frank,
was born in Los Angeles, California in 1921. He was 91 years old. He passed away on March 16, 2013. Marvin was a graduate from George Washington High School in Los Angeles. He was called to service in the United States Navy
during World War II
. After serving his country he began his professional career with Pacific Bell. He married Margaret Ayres in 1951 and fathered 5 children. He was part of the team that installed the initial telephone system for Disneyland and the Disneyland Hotel. He eventually retired from Pacific Bell in 1983 but continued to work in the telephone business into his 80's. Marvin is survived by his five children and eight grandchildren. He loved to garden, watch the wild birds he fed, travel on family vacations and to Europe, to dance at the senior center and to listen to the music he grew up with.
Visitation is Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton. Graveside service is Friday at 11 am.
