83, beloved husband of Cherlene Williams passed away in La Habra, CA on January 3rd, 2013. "Dick" as he was known by everyone around him, was also survived by his daughter, Sheri Avey (husband Rick, their children, Jeremy, Sarah and Bryan); son, Mike Williams (wife Dawn and their son Derek); daughter, Jeanine Graham (husband Eric and their children Andrew and Alisha); daughter Cheron Palmer (husband Flint and their children Samantha, Kyle and Sydney); and son, Brad Donovan (wife Renie and their children Bradon and Bronson). Dick was born on July 5th, 1929 to Grady and Ruby Williams in Long Beach, CA, but spent part of his adolescence in Oklahoma. Dick served in the U.S. Coast Guard
in the 1940's. He later began his over 50 year long career as a Truck Driver. Most of his career was spent at Navajo, Hadley and PMT. He retired from trucking in 1994. Dick enjoyed his retirement motor homing, traveling, and spending time with family.
Thank you to all the family and friends that attended the Rosary on January 9th from 4 to 8 pm and the celebration of life on January 10th at 10:30 am at Queen of Heaven, 2161 S. Fullerton Road, Rowland Heights. The family appreciated everyone that also attended the luncheon that followed the services.
