Warren, Robert Jay,
80 years of age, born August 29, 1932 in Queens, New York, passed away June 8, 2013. He was widowed and passed away in Westminster where he was a resident for 1 year. He was a previous resident of Hemet for over 10 years and a former resident of Smithtown, New York for 36 years. He was employed at Q1 Corporation for 13 years, Parker Hanni Fin Aerospace for 13 years where he retired. He was a veteran of the Korean War
, served in the U.S. Army
for 3 years at a rate of S.F.C. He received his Masters in applied Physics at Hofstra University. Robert was a member of the Lee De Forest ARC and Ham Radio as well as the U.S. Army M.A.R.S.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Deborah Warren of Fountain Valley and Linda Hatanaka of Westminster; two sons, Christopher Warren of Fountain Valley and Douglas Warren of Washington; brothers, Allen Warren of North Carolina and Kenneth Link of Florida; and 2 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Veronica in 2010.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 10:00 am at the St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church, 16400 Springdale Street, Huntington Beach, CA. Committal Services will be on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11:31 am at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA. Hemet Valley Mortuary
