WILLIAM "PAGE" MONTGOMERY

Montgomery, William "Page" (1948 - 2013), passed unexpectedly of heart failure February 28, 2013 in Laguna Beach, CA. He was born in Indianapolis, IN and grew up in Rushville, IN, the son of Barr and Harriett Lee (Endres) Montgomery. He was graduated from Rushville High School in 1968. He attended Kenyon College in Gambrier, OH, but received his B.A. from Butler U., IN. with honors. He was graduated from Duke Law School, Durham, NC in 1974. Following law school, he worked for the government in Washington, DC in the field of technological communication in arbitration and litigation. He later moved to Boston, Mass where he worked for Econ & Technology for the next 20 yrs. Having had enough snow and ice to last a lifetime, he decided to join his family in OC, CA. While living in Laguna Beach, he founded "Montgomery Consulting". Page was an extremely intelligent, giving person. Although he had no children, he considered his nieces and nephews his own. He acted as a mentor, providing whenever and whatever he was capable. Page served on the Laguna College of Art & Design from 2006 to 2009. He loved art and jazz and was a devoted brother and uncle. His brother Joel preceded his death in 2007. He is survived by his sister, Mary Beebe (Mr Warren ) Muncie, IN; sister in law, Bonnie Montgomery (Mrs Joel) Laguna Beach; as well as 7 nieces, nephews, and 14 great nieces and nephews in CA and IN. Page will be dearly missed. Private services will be held March 16, 2003. Memorial donations may be made to the LCAD W.P.M. Fund 2825 Laguna Canyon Rd. L.B, CA 92651
