We first met Joe when we were working on the Balboa Fun Zone. He came to our office to talk about the carousel that he had gotten from the closed Santa's Village and had refurbished it. We coordinated with him the location, colors for the Fun Zone. He was full of energy as he spoke of the work he was putting in to the carousel. He also told us his story of when he and Bob Speth were 12 years old and working at the old Fun Zone. The last time we heard from him was when he referred us to the new owner of the Fun Zone. Joe was very kind and inspirational.

Cousin Don Ensign checking in way too late... Joe looked me up where ever I was in the world. He made sure that i knew he was real family and loved me. He is often in my thoughts, missed now that I know.

Joe you will be greatly missed in my life. When I look back you have always been a good caring and loving Uncle and very PATIENT while teaching me through many projects we've completed on your ranch along with all the trips we've taken together. Until we meet again, I love you, Kenny.
