To the Spear family---I am very sorry for your loss. You don't know me but we bought and lived in the house you are in, in 1992 and lived in it for 6 yrs. All your neighbors are our friends. I am also an alumni of Mater Dei....my heart aches for you and I want you to know that I am praying for you daily.....God bless all of you!!

I am so sorry for your loss. ( I am Dimitri's Aunt by proxy...) It is hard to find the words. Know that he and Dimitri are together now, being goofy. The world has lost another great young man.

Larry & Lauren,
Darlene and I were very sorry to hear of your loss.
Andrew made an impact on everyone he met, including us. We enjoyed spending time with him whether it was on the baseball field or on the mountain.
I vividly remember Andrew on the mound in his Mater Dei uniform taking it to the other team! (well most of the time). But my most laughable memory is of three boys getting sick in the back of my Hummer after Andrew got car sick riding up the mountain.
Yes, the memories will remain, and the young man will be missed!
Please know your son's memory will always remain with us, and with our son.

Larry & Lauren, the service was really nice. This is my favorite picture of the guys at prom. I took several shots of them all proper and at the end I said “now do something silly” and of course they did! Andrew will be missed and remembered by many. Karen Lomeli (Smith).
