Bertha Barrett Obituary

Barrett, Bertha C., a U.S. Army Nurse in WW II, passed away in Costa Mesa, California on November 8, 2010 at the age of 87. Previously of Newport Beach, California, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Barrett and grandson, Gary Lunde. She is survived by her children, Nancy Dougherty (Matt) of Polson, MT, Peggy Lunde (Bob) of Costa Mesa, CA, Leslie Murphy of Fair Play, CA and William E. Barrett II (Cynthia) of Polosn, MT. She had eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:30 am at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach. In lieu flowers, donation may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Heart Association, or the charity of your choice. Fairhaven Memorial Park

I had the pleasure of working with Cynthia, Bertha's daughter-in-law, and though I personally didn't have the pleasure of knowing Bertha I wish to extend my condolences to her family. Sending my love and prayers.
