BILL MCMAHON Obituary

McMahon, Bill, was reunited with his wife Lee on Saturday, September 18, 2010 just after midnight. The reunion took place in heaven and was attended by a large group of friends and relatives. Jesus Christ was the first to welcome Bill and was heard to say, "Well done good and faithful servant. You received me as your Savior on Earth, and I receive you now into an eternity with Me in heaven." In his "earthly life", Bill was born in 1919 in Arkansas, but lived most of his life in Orange County. He was a World War II combat veteran, an aerospace engineer for 30 years with North American-Rockwell, an inventor, owner of several of his own businesses, a Christian, husband of Lee for 65 years, father of two sons (Jerry and Randy), grandfather of 9, great-grandfather of a bunch, great-great-grandfather of 1, and loyal friend to many. Bill invented many things, ranging from fiber optic medical probes to vacuum forming equipment to the "Pitch-o-Matic" baseball toy advertised on TV by Hall of Famer Duke Snider in the 1960's. He worked long hours every day until a stroke slowed him down when he was 80, but his work ethic helped shape many others. There was nothing he couldn't fix, create, engineer or make happen... and there was nothing he wouldn't do for his friends and family. As members of Bill's family, we were proud to share him with the world and we miss him very much.
